Mrs. Rachel Bennett teaches Junior High Math and Technology in her first year at the Jr/Sr High School.  She taught STEM at the elementary school for 10 years prior to her move.  She also coaches Junior High Track and has assisted with the Varsity team.

Mrs. Bennett is a gradate of Marlette High School, as is her husband.  They now have two children attending school in the District.

Mrs. Bennett chose to return to work at Marlette Schools because "I like the small town community where everyone pitches in to help each other out."  She added, "I enjoy helping students. I struggled as a student and I strive to be a positive influence."

Principal Kohler stated, "Mrs. Bennett has been a tremendous addition to our 7-12 building. Her ability to connect with students, foster a positive classroom culture, and bring out the best in students are her strengths. She is an extremely hard working professional and takes great pride in everything she does. Mrs. Bennett embodies the strong Red Raider tradition we are carrying on each and every day!"
