The Marlette Junior/Senior High School houses approximately 525 seventh through twelfth grade students.

All seventh through twelfth grade students are on a trimester schedule where students attend five seventy-four minute classes each day.  Each of the three trimesters consists of approximately 60 instructional days.  Even though seventh through twelfth grade students are in the same building, they have different lunch schedules, limiting the interaction between junior high and senior high school students.

Seventh and eighth grade students are provided core instruction in the areas of English, math, social studies and science.  Exploratory offerings for seventh and eighth grade students include computers, health, industrial education, physical education, science enrichment, Spanish and band.

Ninth through twelfth grade students  are currently required to have 27.5 credits to graduate.  Specific information about graduation requirements is included in the high school handbook.  The 2012-2013 Marlette Jr/Sr High School Course Descriptions can be reviewed here.

Marlette offers a wide variety of core academic and elective courses in an attempt to meet the unique needs of each and every student.  In addition to the general core and elective courses, Marlette Jr/Sr High School offers six Advanced Placement courses for college-bound students.  Special education courses are available for students who qualify for these services.

Juniors and Seniors can also choose to attend any one the twelve programs offered at the Sanilac Career Center.
